The police booked two persons today following a complaint by a resident of Manupur village, near here. Simarjeet Singh reported that Rajdeep Singh and his brother Lakhvir Singh, residents of Hargana village in Fatehgarh Sahib, had promised to send him to Italy in 2003. They had taken Rs 2.25 lakh from him, but neither sent him to Italy, nor returned his money. A case was registered after a detailed inquiry.
